ಚಿಂಚೋಳಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಪಂಚಾತಿಯು-1995 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸ್ತಿತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಮನ್ನೆಖೆಳಿಯಿಂದ ಹಾದು ಹೋಗುವ ಎನ್.ಎಚ್ -9 ರಿಂಗ್ ರಸ್ತೆಯು ಚಿಂಚೋಳಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದ 30 ಕಲೋಮಿಟರ್ ಅಂತರದಲ್ಲಿರುತ್ತದೆ. 2011ರ ಜನಗಣತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಚಿಂಚೋಳಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 17158 ಜನಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುತ್ತದೆ, ಚಿಂಚೋಳಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು 18 ವಾರ್ಡ ಗಳಿದ್ದು 18 ಚುನಾಯಿತ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿರುತ್ತರೆ ಚಿಂಚೋಳಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯು ಒಟ್ಟು 4.23 ಚ.ಕೀ.ಮಿ ಗಳಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಚಿಂಚೋಳಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಪುರಾತನವಾದ "ಪಂಚಲಿಂಗೇಶ್ವರ ಬುಗ್ಗಿ" , " ಹಾರಕೂಡ ಶ್ರೀ ಚನ್ನ ಬಸವೇಶ್ವರ" ದೇವಲಾಯಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ದವಾಗಿದೆ. ಚಿಂಚೋಳಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದ ಸುಮಾಋಉ 25 ಕೀ.ಮಿ ಅಂತರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ "ಚಂದ್ರಂಪಳ್ಳಿ ಡ್ಯಾಮ್" ಪ್ರವಾಸಿ ತಣ ವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಚಿಂಚೋಳಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದ 10 ಕಿ.ಮಿ ಅಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಚೆಟ್ಟಿನಾಡ ಸಿಮೆಂಟ ಪ್ರ.ಲಿ., ಮತ್ತು ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವ ಒಂದು ಕಿ.ಮಿ ಅಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವ ಚಿಂಚೋಳಿ ಸುಗರ್ & ಬಯೊ ಪ್ರ.ಲೀ.ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
